WW2 NZEF Kit Bag

Here we have a fascinating piece of NZ WW2 history. Cotton canvas draw cord “duffel” kit bags were issued to all personnel embarking for overseas service. This bag is named to “82248 DVR A E Allan NZEF”, (possibly Driver Alexander Edgar Allan) and would have gone everywhere with him from posting to posting during his time overseas. The bag is in good used condition and would be a fantastic piece for any collector.
