U.S. Army WW2 Khaki Garrison Cap

Introduced in the late 1930’s, these caps were issued to all troops during WW2 as part of the khaki summer uniform.These are the Army issue version which had a rounded profile as opposed to the square “tent” style which were either privately purchased or bought from the “PX” store.The different coloured piping indicated the different branch of service of the wearer.These caps are all small sizes, with various stampings,tags and writing etc,approximately size 6 1/2 or 54cm.Yes they could do with an iron and clean,some may have storage marks etc, but they are the genuine article and would make a great addition to any militaria collection.
