M1928 Haversack Pack Tail. (O.D. No 7)

This is the extra piece of canvas that attached to the bottom edge of the US Army M1928 Haversack and increased its carrying capacity.This example was made by Bruce & Thomas Mfg Co in 1944 and is in OD No7 shade.There is some slight corrosion/rust on some of the metal fixtures however overall it is in good condition. Note – the leather insert strap is still required to attach this to the pack.
