1840 Six-Barrel Pepper-box Revolver 5071

This is the Denix non-firing die-cast model of the 1840 Six-Barrel Pepper-box Percussion-Cap Revolver. Pepper-box revolvers were an early form of hand-held repeating firearm made primarily for the civilian market but often purchased by military officers. The Pepper-box action was used in matchlock, flintlock, percussion cap and even centre fire guns. This model features a single action that revolves the cylinder when the trigger is pulled.
