Belgian Army Gas Mask Bag BAG27

This type of sturdily made cotton canvas bag are slowly becoming a rarity in this age of plastic and nylon. Made in the 1950’s for the Belgian Army to carry gas masks, these bags saw service right up until the 90’s. Measuring approximately 12cm square at the base and 30cm tall, the bag features an adjustable strap (125cm max), two internal side pockets and one in the top lid. There are also several brass D-rings and a snap hook on the strap as originally it could be worn in several different ways.
