British Army MVP Bivvy Bag CMP19

Bivvy, Bivy or Bivi Bags (short for Bivouac) are a great choice for ultra-light camping without a tent and are now used by Militaries around the world. These bags are ex-British Army and are made from green MVP (moisture vapour permeable) fabric. They are simply a bag that fits over your sleeping bag with a draw cord to tie up around your head. They are a great choice if you want to tramp with minimal gear, sleep under the stars and the you know the weather will be on your side. Bivvy’s do have their pros and cons – light weight, simplicity etc vs cramped, lack of privacy… so we recommend “doing your research” to find what works for you. On a calm night though there’s nothing better than falling asleep literally wherever you decide to lie down.
