French Gendarme M47 Field Jacket JKT51

These classic vintage cotton drill field jackets were made for the French Army and Gendarmes and were used throughout the 50’s 60’s and 70’s.Based on the U.S M43 jacket, they are an unlined 100% heavy cotton drill garment with four front pockets,a cinchable waist, tab sleeve cuffs and a spread collar.Most of these jackets came to us either sized incorrectly or not at all so we have done our best to simplify this allowing for a roomy fit with layers on underneath.Please note: these jackets will vary in tone and colour of drab green/brown and may differ from the one pictured.The sizes are:

– Medium/Short – approx 165/175cm Height – 92/96cm Chest

– Medium/Regular – approx 170/180cm Height – 92/96cm Chest

– Large/Short – approx 165/175cm Height – 96/100cm Chest

– Large/Regular – approx 170/180cm Height – 96/100cm Chest
