Hills Hats Lemon Squeezer Hat

The iconic “Lemon Squeezer” hat was worn by NZ forces throughout WW1 and WW2 and is still worn for ceremonial purposes to this day.Originally these hats were made by numerous hat companies which meant many variations on the basic design.These Wool Felt hats feature a wide brim, tall peak and cloth Puggaree in Infantry colours of Khaki/Scarlet/Khaki and inside, a leather sweat band. Original examples of this hat are becoming very rare (and very expensive!) so this is a great way to own a piece of NZ military history made by one of the same companies who originally manufactured them.
