Italian Army Canvas Ammunition Pouch POU11

These solidly built cotton canvas pouches come from the Italian Army and are evidence of the British influence in their post-war webbing equipment. Virtually identical to the 1937 pattern universal pouch, these have a leather tab and buckle instead of brass dome but retain the “C-clip” belt hooks and brass buckle and tunnel loop for attaching the shoulder strap. The pouches measure 12cm wide,6cm deep and 24cm high. However just to complicate things some are only 20cm high. All the shorter ones have the internal loops pictured while only some of the taller ones do! The pouches will be picked at random unless you have a strong preference – email us! They appear to be unissued with only minor storage marks etc.
