SMLE No1 Mk III 1090

This is the Denix die-cast non-firing imitation of the famous .303 No1 Mk III Lee-Enfield, often called the SMLE or Short Magazine Lee Enfield.The Lee-Enfield, and later variants was the main service rifle for British,NZ and Commonwealth troops throughout WW1,WW2 and on to the 1960’s and is still in use with various Police/Defence forces throughout the World.The model features a removable magazine and the bolt action can be worked to cock the rifle.
