Swedish Army “Ficklampa 3” Torch MSC13

These ex-Swedish Army “Ficklampa 3” or Flashlight 3’s were a small plastic torch issued to all field personnel. Similar to the WW2 German design, they are a plastic rectangular box measuring approximately 110mm x 65mm x 37mm.The front face has the lens three slider knobs which filter the torch beam from plain white to red, green or blackout. To switch the lamp to constant beam turn the knob from 6/12 o’clock position to 9/3 o’clock. Turn the knob to the 8/2 o’clock position and press for the “morse” flashing function. The torch opens by pressing the side button and pulling the front face open to reveal the 2 x C size battery compartment, lens and spare bulb. On the rear face there is a combination 65mm belt loop and two leather button hole tabs for attaching to tunic buttons. The torches are used and may have minor scratches etc, but are guaranteed fully functioning.
