Swedish Army M51 Gas Mask Bag BAG26

These unusually shaped bags come from the Swedish Army and were used to carry gas masks. Originally the bag was worn slung with the detachable strap attached to the metal clips and the flap facing forward. The bags have now been adapted so the the flap faces upwards like a regular bag. Made from heavy canvas, the bag features numerous internal pockets, an adjustable canvas strap and closes with three “lift the dot” fasteners and a quick release tab.Measuring approximately 25cm wide, 30cm high and 15cm at the widest end, the bags are used but very well made and still in good usable condition and will last for many more years.
